Gold Heavy Texture catches light like hot  liquid metal. Broad fluid strokes shift from deep amber in the shadows to bright gold at the peaks. One of our most popular textures for good reason. There’s really nothing quite like it.

Made with fine grit mica, gives it a shimmer similar to 22-karat gold. It dries to a glossy metallic finish with a warm yellow-gold appearance. Professional grade, 100% acrylic emulsion, water-based formula. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Lightfastness rates Excellent. Crack-resistant with a flexible cure.

It works for decorative pieces, mixed media, and metallic accents in relief work. You can tint it with standard Gaffrey Acrylic Colors. It won’t lose thickness or body. Holds stiff peaks for impasto and palette knife work. Works with piping bags, painting knives, and brushes. Available in 15.5 oz and 32 oz jars.
